Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add the chimpanzee trek to this package?
Yes — this is strongly recommended. Adding the Kibale chimp trek ($250/pp permit) on Day 4 turns this package into Uganda's ultimate cultural and primate experience. It adds $250 per person to the total. Contact us and we'll update your itinerary accordingly.
What level of physical fitness is required?
The gorilla trek is the most physically demanding activity — it involves 1–8 hours of forest hiking depending on gorilla location. A moderate fitness level is required. All other cultural activities are easy walking. We advise any medical concerns to be discussed with our team before booking.
Can this be customised — more days or different regions?
Absolutely. Roam Beyond specialises in tailor-made Uganda itineraries. Add Murchison Falls (Nile cruises), Queen Elizabeth (tree-climbing lions, Kazinga Channel), or Kidepo (remote wilderness). We build custom routes for individual, couple, family, and group travellers at no design fee.
