"This is Uganda's most complete budget safari — designed for travellers who refuse to compromise on experiences but want the best possible value for their money. Both gorilla and chimpanzee permits are included. The lodges are simple but clean and comfortable. The wildlife encounters are identical to those on luxury packages. The only difference is the price — and with our monthly payment plan, even that barrier disappears."

💡

Why Budget Doesn't Mean Compromise

The gorillas don't know which lodge you slept in. Every client on this tour — budget or luxury — stands face-to-face with a silverback for a full, unhurried hour. We use budget-tier lodges and shared vehicles to keep costs down, but your wildlife encounters are never compromised.

    FAQ
    Budget Safari Questions Answered
Does 'budget' mean I get a lesser gorilla trekking experience?
Absolutely not. Every gorilla trekking permit provides access to the same habituated gorilla families in the same ancient Bwindi Forest — regardless of which lodge you sleep in. Budget and luxury clients stand in the same forest, with the same ranger, watching the same silverback family. The gorilla experience is identical.
Is it safe to do white-water rafting on the Nile in Uganda?
Yes. The Nile rafting experience in Jinja is operated by internationally certified operators (Nalubale Rafting / Adrift Uganda) with excellent safety records spanning 25+ years. Safety kayakers accompany every raft, all safety equipment is provided, and swimming skills are not required — your guide provides full briefing. Grade 5 is the highest classification and is an exhilarating but safe experience.
What is the Batwa cultural walk and why is it included?
The Batwa are Uganda's indigenous forest-dwelling pygmy people — traditional hunter-gatherers who lived in the forests of Bwindi for centuries before the national park was gazetted. A Batwa forest walk is led by Batwa community members who share their traditional forest knowledge, honey gathering techniques, plant medicine practices, and dance. The experience is deeply respectful, community-run, and directly supports Batwa livelihoods.
