"Two of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations in one extraordinary 10-day journey. Begin with Uganda's iconic gorilla trek in Bwindi — standing face-to-face with a mountain silverback — then fly to Kenya for the Masai Mara and the Great Wildebeest Migration (June–October) — the largest movement of land animals on Earth, with river crossings that define the word 'spectacular'. Connect them with Uganda's Murchison Falls and the Nile launch cruise. East Africa at its absolute finest."

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the best time for the wildebeest migration in the Mara?
The Great Migration is a year-round phenomenon, but the most spectacular Mara river crossings happen from late June to October, peaking July–September. During this period, herds of 50,000–200,000 wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River multiple times daily, with enormous Nile crocodiles waiting in the water. This package is most powerful when booked for a June–October departure.
Is the gorilla trekking permit ($800) included?
Yes — the Uganda gorilla trekking permit ($800 per person) is included in the W-10 package price. The gorilla trek is in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest — Days 1–2 of the itinerary.
Do I need visas for both Uganda and Kenya?
Yes. Uganda eVisa: $50 pp (apply at evisa.go.ug). Kenya eVisa: $50 pp (apply at evisa.go.ke). The East Africa Tourist Visa ($100) covers Uganda, Kenya, AND Rwanda — excellent value if you plan to visit all three. Your Roam Beyond guide will advise on the best visa option for your specific travel plan.
